The All Star Game Is a Joke

So, the selection process is officially a joke. Any time a bunch of middle relievers and a utility guy are deciding the FUCKING ALL STAR GAME the process has officially gone awry. I want to see the best players, period. I dont want to see Matt Thornton, or Kuo, or any of the other nameless relief pitchers, or Martin Prado, or Ty Wiggington. Especially when Carlos Gonzalez, Mat Latos, Roy Oswalt and many many others were left home.

I guess fans somewhere like it... but the All-Star game needs to go back to being an exhibition.

A couple random thoughts:
The Lakers are still the team to beat, D-Wade is right. 3 Players don't win a title. Robert Horry, Steve Kerr, John Paxson, Derek Fisher, James Posey, Ron Artest and many others attest to that.

The Giants need to trade for a bat, but Sanchez or Bum for Corey Hart is not the way to go. I think Hart's numbers would take a serious hit in AT&T Park.

Here are some reactions on the Escobar-Gonzalez SS swap. I think The Braves sold too low on Yunel Escobar.

It sure sucks to be Tiger Woods in 2010 compared to Tiger Woods in 2006. Talk about an epic career/life fail.
